An interactive scuptulre, The Vessel is a landmark of the newly redesigned Hudson Yards

The Vessel by Thomas Heatherwick is one of New York's newest attractions. It was designed to be a walkable sculpture; however, as of August 2021, visitors cannot walk it due to safety concerns.Even without walking the nearly 2,600 stairs, the sculpture is a beautiful landmark to upgrade your selfies. Located right next to the mall at Hudson Yards, with a food court in the basement, it's a great place to refuel.

Not good in rain

The Vessel is currently closed for walking but open for viewing. On a rainy day the shops next to the Vessel are a great destination and there are 2 fantastic restaurants with beautiful views of The Vessel. Ask Us for more tips.
