The 2022 NYC Pride March is on June 26th, starting at 12noon. The parade begins on 25th and 5th Av. The parade will head south down 5th Av, passing the Stonewall National Monument and the AIDS memorial before dispersing in Chelsea at 16th St & 7th Av. If you're traveling to NYC and looking for an excellent place to stay, we've pulled a list of our recommendations. Near Bryant Park in midtown, Pestana Park Av is just a few blocks north of the start of the Pride parade. This beautiful view and friendly staff make everyone feel special when they check in.
The Sheraton Tribeca has a lot of value for the money. It's right on Canal street and split between the A, C & E and the N, Q, R, & W trains. There is a gym, wifi, and a rooftop where guests love to take sunset pictures of the Manhattan skyline. This hotel made our list because it's only 10 mins to get to Stonewall on the A line.
The Shelburne Sonesta New York is situated in the heart of the Murray Hill neighborhood. The friendly staff and cozy beds make staying here feel like home. The rooms tend to be larger than the average NYC room, which is always a positive surprise for out-of-town guests. The seasonal rooftop has a great bar to relax in the evenings.
The Iroquois is another midtown hotel ideally situated in midtown. Near 2 blocks from Grand Central Terminal, 2 blocks from Bryant Park, and 3 blocks from Times Square. The hotel has a partnership with a lot and provides parking if you plan to drive here. Contact them and let them know you will be arriving in a car. The parade starts on 25th & 5th, only 15 mins from the Iroquois, making it a great location if you plan to get there early.
