A New York Trip Itinerary From An NYC Trip Consultant

We've been so busy the past few weeks building plans for travelers. We've built plans for first-time visitors, local residents hosting out-of-town guests, and people celebrating special occasions. We know everyone is different and what makes NY great is it has something for everyone. Rather than writing a post about fun things to do for travelers, we decided to ask one of our trip consultants what a perfect NYC itinerary would look like for them.

Rather than writing a post about fun things to do for travelers, we decided to ask one of our trip consultants what a perfect NYC itinerary would look like for them. The perfect NYC day in October as a local trip consultant. This list is coming from Rob, one of our trip consultants who build plans for travelers. Where To Eat In NYC - Breakfast

Breakfast @ Sarabeth's
I love Sarabeth's breakfast. It's more expensive and elaborate than other restaurants, but considering breakfast is the most important meal of the day, I love to take the time and go all in. If I have the time and I'm in midtown, this is my go to spot to start.

People watching in Central Park
Central Park is such an iconic part of the city. It's the most filmed and part of so many travelers' bucket lists. As a local New Yorker, Central Park is an oasis. You can sit near the reservoir and forget you're in the center of the largest city in the country. The best days are when you catch a concert in the park or a show.

Where To Eat In NYC - Lunch

Just Salad
I don't like a big lunch. I tend to eat small if at all, during the day. Just Salad is one of the first salad restaurants to chop their salad. Plus, they have a wide variety of options and know just the right amount of dressing to apply.

Roller skating @ Rockefeller Center
Midtown doesn't have a lot of chill spots to have fun, but this new roller skating rink at Rockefeller Center is a lot of fun. Ice skating at Rockefeller Center is so iconic and beautiful. Still, the ice skating rink is gone for most of the year, and it's just a little plaza. This year there is a new roller skating rink in place of ice skating, making the energy so much fun. I'm also amazed at how few travelers know about this.

Where To Eat In NYC Before A Show

Dinner @ Jasmine's Caribbean
There's a cuisine for every palette. There are a lot of excellent pre-theater dinner options in midtown. Right now, my personal favorite is Jasmine's. Jasmines is one of the newer restaurants in the area and gives great service and fantastic food.

See A Broadway Show: The Cost Of Living
First … I love live theater. Love. It. I don't know if I love NY because of Broadway or if I love Broadway because of NY. I can't wait to see this show: The Cost Of Living. It's a story about 4 people who meet and go through life struggles. It's a New York-based story, and I'm excited to see David Zayas live. I've seen him in several TV shows and looking forward to seeing his acting live.
